About the Photographer
Allison Wittman, born and raised in the Midwest, graduated from Purdue University with a B.A in Fine Arts. At Purdue she was a photographer for the local student paper and a Public Relations photographer for the Purdue University "All American" Marching Band; as well as a sports photographer. Her travels have taken her all around the United States and Canada where she has focused on documentary photography. Her favorite subjects to shoot are the Lobstermen and women off the coast of Peaks Island, Maine. Her photos can be seen on the island in the ice cream store, Down Front. She has been taking wedding and portrait photographs since 1999.
